Hi,

Here are some additional infos. I have managed to force the From: field
to a correct value following the infos. Here is a result:

Received:
from localhost [127.0.0.1] (borco) by borco-ei.eng.hokudai.ac.jp with
esmtp (Exim 2.05 #1 (Debian)) id 0zsMYw-0003Ow-00; Tue, 22 Dec

To:
	borco at example.com
From:
	Ionutz Borcoman <borco at example.com>

Mew version 1.93 on XEmacs 20.4 (Emerald)
Mime-Version:

Content-Type:

Message-ID:
	<19981222164901P.borco at example.com>

X-Mozilla-Status2:

X-UIDL:

As it can be seen, the Sender and Message-ID show those borco at example.com
Please help me eliminate them.

The messages are still sended to the kiki host unless a host is
specified. It looks like the MEW cann't read by itself the name of the
host. This seams to be correct setted as:

bash-2.01$ hostname
borco-ei
bash-2.01$ hostname -f
borco-ei.eng.hokudai.ac.jp

commands are showing the right answers. Can I set MEW to use the report
of these program ?

TIA,

Ionutz

PS: please reply in English
