     ----cccc _d_i_r   Set the News home to _d_i_r

     ----dddd _f_i_e_l_d
             Set th field to be extracted to _f_i_e_l_d.

             Specify an external _c_o_m_m_a_n_d to fetch mailbox.

             Specify _o_p_t_i_o_n_s for _c_o_m_m_a_n_d.

             Line    _l_e_n_g_t_h     into     which     base64/quoted-
             printable/gzip64 encoding truncate.

     ----tttt       On base64/gzip64 encoding, local newline is treated
             as  CRLF.   On  base/gzip64  decoding,any newline is
             translated into local newline.  Specify this  option
             only  when  the  input  is  a line based object(e.g.
             Content-Type:        is        text/plain         or
             application/postscript).
