[mew-dist 19985] Re: encoding of Japanese message body text

my last postings here were also based64 encoded, so i won't write this
in japanese this time.

the problem is that when i send an email in japanese, its message body
is base64 encoded and i want it to be in plain 7-bit jis code.

i use emacs 21.1 with mew 2.1, adn my .emacs has:

(set-language-environment "Japanese")

i tested with all the other coding specifications commented out to
see what happens - there was no difference in emails sent out
from my emacs.

any suggestion is greatly appreciated -
