As far as I know, XEmacs mew package is derived from Mew 1.94.2.
Mew 1.94.2 requires Perl, IM, etc. Mew 1.x differs from Mew 2.x
in many ways.
For information about Mew and Windows, see `http://www.Mew.org/Win32/'.
Mew 2.x and Meadow, Windows enhancement of GNU Emacs, might work on
your Windows system.
