Have you considered ifile?

Maybe using ifile with mew would do a better job of identifying
and sorting spam:

   http://www.nongunu.org/ifile

The bayesian filtering technique is good, and ifile has a way to
learn from your own personal email behavior.  This is close to
the mew philosophy of mew-summary-refile.
