Well, it'll be helpful to tell us your configuration regarding;

    mew-spam-prog
    mew-spam-prog-args

You can check it using "C-h v" on emacs, which invokes function
"describe-variable", and type name of variables listed above.

My understanding is that Mew/Emacs just runs a command 'mew-spam-prog'
with 'mew-spam-prog-args' as its argument.
So, my question is whether you can get right behavier by running that
command if you execute on the shell prompt.
