tnef -f will just create a file in the current directory
tnef -vf will create the file and output the filename to STDOUT
i'm assuming that for this to work well with mew tnef should
have a "-n" option that would only output the filename to
STDOUT and not create a file?
what other options would be useful? an output directory?
