[mew-int 01789] Another message is being sent. Try later

Quite frequently I get the error message:

Another message is being sent. Try later

when I send a message from the draft buffer. I can then quit Mew
(using Q) and start it (M-x mew), go to the +draft folder, select E to
edit the message and then send it. Has anybody else experienced this?
