[mew-int 02040] Disabling 'i' in IMAP summary?

Hi,
I'm only slightly newer to mew than to emacs (between one and two months), so please
bear with me.
The manual states that 'i' is a bad idea in IMAP folders, and I agree.
Having slipped off the shift and pulled all of my %inbox messages off of my server
when I intended to pull down the rest of a truncated file more than once, it occurs to
me that 'i' really should be disabled if your home folder is an imap folder. Is this
functionality already available? I know I could (with some research) modify the keymap
in the appropriate hook(s), but the behaviour is so counter to the purpose of IMAP
that it seems like the default should be that 'i' is disabled in imap,so that local
modification of the code will only be needed in the exception case.
Does this make sense?
