Typing "d" puts the delete mark. To delete messages marked with the
delete mark, type "x".

This moves messages to the %trash folder. To delete messages in
%trash, "d"+"x" or "D".

If you don't to want to move a message and really delete it, type M-d
to put the unlink mark. And type "x".
