In the attached mail the (binary) attachment is hidden by default
because it is embedded in the alternative.  Mew only shows

  X-Mew: Text/Plain in Multipart/Alternative as a singlepart

but this normally means that there is just the same text as HTML.
After pressing `:' I see this structure:

  Q    1  Text/Plain(UTF-8)*                                                   
  Q    2.1  Text/Html(ISO-8859-1)                                              
  B    2.2  Application/X-Gzip                            groff.t..
  Q    2.3  Text/Html(ISO-8859-1)                                              

Any chance that mew makes the Application/X-Gzip visible by default?
Otherwise I suggest that some `X-Mew' text is added:

  X-Mew: Text/Plain in Multipart/Alternative as a singlepart
  X-Mew: Press `:' to see the deeper levels of the alternative part,
  X-Mew:   there might be attachments.
