The new error message is good. :)
i don't use S/MIME for PGP messages because most people i mail with
only use Thunderbird which can read old-fashioned PGP messages only
(or they cannot set it up properly).
anyways, i was not aware of the page you linked, there's some good
info there. also, everything works fine now, so it's cool.
