I naively assumed that if HTML was preferred, the second part was
going to be selected and the attachments displayed.  However, after
some experimentation, the text part seems to be selected for
Apple-mail misformed messages.  I guess one could add a configurable
check that, if the second part of the alternative contains more than
an HTML document (and possibly some images), then display it.
