[mew-int 2571] Mew 6.1 can't retrieve from local mbox

I'm using Mew 6.1 with Carbon Emacs
(http://homepage.mac.com/zenitani/emacs-e.html) based on Emacs 22.2.50
on Mac Leopard.  I re-configure mew setting to using a local
procmail+spamassassin instead of old pop setting due to spams.
However, when I try to retrieve mails from the local spool, Mew just
indicate "Scanning +inbox", not the spool.  My .mew.el is very simple:

(setq mew-mailbox-type 'mbox)
(setq mew-mbox-command "incm")
(setq mew-mbox-command-arg "-d /path/to/spool")

What could be the problem?
