Yes, I've tried this, but to no avail:

(setq mew-summary-form-list
      '((t
	 (type (5 date) " " (20 from) " " t (70 subj) )))
      )

And I've tried other variations as well, restarting mew each time.

I believe that this works, but I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong =)
