[mew-int 2427] Problem with mew-use-unread-mark

Hi everyone,

Sorry for the 'newbie' questions -- I really like mew and am learning a
lot about how it works.  It's very nice!

One thing that I would like to do is, whenever I get new IMAP messages,
is see which ones I have not read.  The documentation states that doing

(setq mew-use-unread-mark t)

would accomplish this, but the new messages are not being displayed with
this mark. 

Any ideas?
