of files?

Don't you know the command "_"? Or are you suggesting an improvement
to "_"?

All mail addresses you send mail are automatically registered
(technically in ~/Mail/.mew-alias). Do you mean this mechanism is not
enough? Do you want to add nickname by hand, for instance?
