Right. (Or rather, use a new feature of emacs 23 instead of using
longlines-mode.) Back in December, I suggested I might wish to improve
longlines-mode to allow it to apply only to a subset of the buffer,
and hence work better with mew. I am no longer interested in doing
this, since longlines-mode should fade away once people have moved to
emacs 23 -- and I have already moved myself. Scratch your own itches
and all that.
