In the same line, I am unable to search for e-mails that have certain
words in it.

For example, say I have an e-mail with the word "já" on it. If I try a
"/" search using the "já" expression, just the few ones that are
rendered correct in the (Summary) mode are picked. If I try using the
letters which are actually rendered -- "j=E1" --, none is picked. Just
when I try "j[.]" I get all of them (it seems all of them, but I can't
be sure).
