You are probably referring to searching `delete' directly with C-s or
something else. And no, there is no hit for me. I have to search for
`Delete' (not the uppercase `D') to find it! This looks like a bug in
info 5.1...

However, I'm referring to index entries. Using `mew.info' from git
compiled on January 9th, pressing

  i delete

followed by `,' returns the following entries:

  `mew-DELETE-unread-mark-by-mark' in Variable Index
  `mew-field-DELETE-for-forwarding' in Variable Index
  `mew-imap-DELETE' in Variable Index (2 times)
  `mew-pop-DELETE' in Variable Index (2 times)
  `mew-summary-DELETE-folder-hook' in Variable Index
  `mew-summary-form-mark-DELETE' in Variable Index

That's it. And indeed, looking into `mew.texi' there is no other
index entry containing the word `delete'.

BTW, it would be *extremely* helpful if you could add a `General
Index' that collects ideas and concepts related to Mew. Example:

  @cindex folders, deleting
  @cindex deleting folders

  @cindex folders, renaming
  @cindex renaming folders

etc.
