Hello all,
Mew ver 4.x.x has been on the alpha stage for one year and half. The
alpha release means that the format of Summary mode would change.
Now I'm sure that it will not change, so I would like to move Mew
forward to the beta stage. Mew ver 4.0.68 is the first beta release.

Highlights of Mew 4 include:
* Message bodies can be displayed in Summary mode while their message
number disappeared.
* Pretty good IMAP support. Pretty good folder naming for IMAP
mailboxes (you don't have to specify the prefix "INBOX.").
* Session recovery for POP/IMAP/NetNews. (It appeared that TCP
connections sometime are disconnected due to a bug of Emacs.)
* Mail/Refilelog like Smtplog.
* The unread mark was introduced.
* Picking on a region as well as the entire of a folder.
* Several spam filter suppports.
* A new address completion scheme on a draft.
Please read the info file for more information.
On the beta release stage, we will concentrate on documentation and
performance tuning.
Enjoy!
