Dear all,
I have some problems in understanding how the privacy services are
working with Mew.
Suppose that I start composing an email and that during the
composition I realize that the email has to be encrypted. Well, I
type `C-c C-p C-d' and select `pgp-encrypted' as privacy service; the
"PE" string appears in the modeline. When I compose the message with
`C-c C-m', it is _often_ encrypted, as expected. However, if there is
a problem with the encryption (say, because I don't have the public
key of one of the recipients), the composition fails and I am back in
the draft mode; note that the "PE" string is still in the modeline, so
I expect that Mew will still try to send the mail encrypted. WRONG!
If I type `C-c C-m' again, Mew silently send the mail without any
encryption... I think that it would be much more natural to keep
trying with encryption (for example, I could have decided to delete
the recipient without public key in the To: field).
Another request. Perhaps it would be quite useful to have a simple
way to remove a previously selected protection for a draft; for
example, Mew could always include the option "no encryption" with
`C-c C-p C-d'
Many thanks,
Marco Lombardi
