[mew-int 00522] problem sending/forwarding documents

I often (have to) send/forward word documents. I get intermittent
failure with an error message

(1) (error/warning) Error in process filter: (args-out-of-range -0.011158)

whereafter I cannot send any further emails as I get a message that
"Another message is being sent. Try later." Then I start xemacs+mew
again.

The behaviour has occured since going to Mew 2.0.  I am now running
Mew 2.1rc2. I think I used to occasionly see a similar problem with
imget/imput. I'm using SMTP to send mail.

I cant reliably reproduce the problem - but it tends to occur after
sustained usage.

Has anybody else seen similar?

(I've searched the archives and didnt see anything directly relevant).
