I should clarify what I want to say. 

If you want to include it to Mew 2.1, please test it on the five
Emacsens. Since your code is using functions with which I'm not
familiar, I hesitate to include it without tests.

If you want to include it on Mew 3, you don't have to do anything.  A
bug is eventually found by anyone.
