I tried the patch and it appears to be working for me so far.  Thank
you very much.  I hope consensus is reached (-;

Hmmm...would you say this is a change in thinking from earlier
versions of Mew?

Up until now, I have been thinking of certain folders as associated w/
particular cases (e.g. everything that lives under ~/Mail/ml is
associated w/ one particular case for me).  So I had been putting
corresponding differing values representing local folders for
"inbox-folder" in mew-config-alist.  Is this an inappropriate way to
use Mew?
