I think this is not a Mew's bug. I guess this is a bug of Emacs on
Linux or Linux itself. (around the select() system call?)

If you are talking about the 'T' mark, set mew-pop-size to 0. This is
written in info.

Set mew-pop-delete to t. Note that 't' is the default value for
mew-pop-delete. This is also written in info.
