[mew-int 01376] utf-8, emacs-20.3, han unification

This is a little off-topic, but important to mew users who use
both english ascii,iso-latin-x and japanese iso-2022-jp, euc-jp,
and utf-8.

How did emacs-21.3 leim-21.3 resolve han unification for utf-8?
Are the japanese speakers and writers using this latest version
of emacs yet?  If so, have they dropped mule?
