Works perfectly , many thanks for that.

>From my own purely personal point of view the above suits me
fine.  As long as there exists the functionality to save multiple
attached files to a named directory then I am happy.  (To save
them with all lowercase letters and underscores instead of spaces
would merely be a luxury).

Your option 2 sounds the better of the two.
