[mew-int 2283] help with Hyper Estraier

i just installed Hyper Estraier and built the index (kM).

any search k? or k/ i try gives me a "filter is invalid". i've tried
most of the filters and even tried no filter.

if i go to my ~/Mail/ dir and run

estcmd search casket "henri at example.com"

it works fine (so do the other estcmd options when run from the
command line)

guess you can figure out what i'm running, but :

Mew version 5.2 on XEmacs 21.5-b24 (dandelion)
Fedora Core 5

any advice?
