I can't find mew-field-spec in the doc.
But I google it and get an example.
My problem is OK.

But i think mew-field-spec is better than your recommand.
I think expose that interface to the user is a better way,
do you agree with me ?

I read Xorg mail list, and found those obsoleted field there.
