[mew-int 2551] text/html identified as Text/Plain(us-ascii)

Hi,
The messages attached below contains a header line "Content-type:
text/html" and an html encode body. Yet, in mew summary, it is
identified as "Text/Plain(ascii)". Accurately, there is no huge
"HTML" displayed when viewing it, but instead it is displayed as raw
code.
I confirmed that this behaviour persists if I rename my .mew.el and
.mew.elc, and start emacs with "-q" option (no config files).
I am using mew 6.1 and emacs 22.2.1 on Fedora 9, but the problem was
there already with earlier versions. Strangely, nobody else seems to
have it.
Not all text/html messages show this behaviour, but I could not figure
out what the decisive difference is. Probably there is something
wrong with the attached message, but, as a matter of fact, people are
sending such messages around.
Is it only me who has this problem? Can somebody help?
