It seems to me that you are home now. :)

First of all, try to upgrade stunnel. If you are using old one.
And try Emacs 22 instead of Emacs 23.

If you still have the problem after such tests, please send me the
binary file which causes the problem. (If qmail does not accept, put
the file anyware on the web.)
